Rondout Creek above Red Brook at Peekamoose NY

Rondout Creek is not part of the New York City Water Quality Network. It is funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency through the Regional Long-Term Monitoring Network (RLTM). The station is included here because it is located in the New York City West-of-Hudson Reservoir watersheds. There are 4 RLTM sites in the Catskill Mountains including Rondout Creek, the other 3 (Biscuit Brook, Tison Creek, and Winnisook Creek) are part of the New York City Water Quality network. The Rondout Creek gage has been in operation since 1995.
